From Desperation to Inspiration

The origin of our company can be traced to two things: vision and care. Our initial whole living offerings came to be from flashes of desperation—and then inspiration.

Suddenly, and nearly tragically, founders Jane and Doug Pinto became aware that millions of kids, including their daughter, suffer from the alarming fear that what they eat could kill them. From this place of seeing and caring, they felt an overpowering ethical responsibility to help fill the void of safe food for these kids.

Don’t Go Nuts was born, and today provides delicious, organic snack foods that kids can trust.

At Pinto Barn, we continue looking deeply and broadly to see and care for the whole living needs of an ever dense and frenzied world. There is more to come from Pinto Barn as our story continues to be written.
